While studying at the Dyson School of Design Engineering in Imperial College London, Alfie graduated with a 1st class master's of engineering.
The course covered a diverse range of fields, including Design, Mechanics, Fluid & Thermodynamics, Big Data analysis, Robotics & Advanced Robotics, Physical computing, Algorithmic design, design for manufacturing, and more.
Alfie's key takeaway from the degree was the empowerment that comes with working on a wide range of projects.
Industry experience
Alfie worked for 4 years at RHEON labs, starting as an intern, then as a design engineer and finally headed up the digital marketing content for the company.
Alfie led product launch campaigns with Adidas, Milwaukee Tool, NFL, Ruroc, and Fly racing. This included a fully CG advert airing at the Supercross in the US with an audience of approximately 10 million.
